Blue-Collar Dreams — a series of drawings transferred to blueprints — presents a fictitious narrative based on the dreams of a man who digs holes for a living, an urban excavator who dreams mainly in the color blue. The protagonist is seen through his daily visions and nocturnal apparitions, the manifestation of an interior realm where personal memories collide with cultural data. Many of the blueprints are ideas for yet-to-be-realized and/or impromptu public installations. (Click on blueprints above to view drawings.)
